Switching effortlessly between 48 resistance levels
Using the maintenance-free servo motor magnetic brake, you can effortlessly switch between the E60-R's 48 different resistances. So you don't have to interrupt your workout to change resistance level, and you can adjust the level in between if you want to speed up or slow down. You choose the right resistance level on the monitor and the motor takes over. So unlike a manual control, you don't have to turn a dial yourself, so it doesn't take any physical strength.
All in one overview
On the Bluetooth AI Monitor you can see time, distance, calories, speed, training resistance, heart rate, RPM, wattage and training profile. You have all parameters in one overview. Want a personal training program? With the app iConsole+ you can, thanks to AI, create a new program based on your achieved training results. Manually tilt the monitor so you always have a good view of the screen. The monitor has a tablet holder so you can watch a movie or series during your workout, or use an app with video routes, such as Tunturi Routes or Zwift. With the tablet in the holder, you can still see the four main parameters on the monitor, on either side of the table.
Ideal for rehabilitation
With a recumbent bike, you perform the workout in a seated position. This is why the trainer is also known as a "chair bike," "recumbent bike" or "sit-up bike. "Recumbent" means "leaning back". In this position, you relieve the upper body and focus more on the lower body. This makes the E60-R a good trainer for people with limited motor skills or vascular problems, those with obesity or back problems.
Getting on and off without difficulty
Even more than a regular exercise bike, the E60-R has a low, spacious entry level. This even makes it possible to get on the trainer from a wheelchair. Because you sit directly on the trainer, your upper body is under minimal strain. Getting on and off is easy and safe, with the two handles providing additional support.
Always the right position
Because you perform a workout on the E60-R in seated position, it features a firm and comfortable backrest. Both the backrest and seat are widely adjustable, so you will always be in the best position. The backrest is made of comfortable, soft mesh. The holes in the material provide good ventilation, even where your back touches the backrest. This prevents discomfort caused by sweating, even during intense workouts. The seat has two handles for more stability. These have integrated heart rate sensors for tracking heart rate during your workout.
Feet firmly in place
The E60-R's Comfort balance pedals keep your feet firmly in place throughout your workout. The pedals have a non-slip lining and the foot straps have seven different positions. Your feet will never slip out of the pedals and the straps don't pinch. The weights under the pedals ensure that they always hang straight. As a result, you slide your foot in just like that. That not only guarantees easy entry, you can start working out right away.
Training by wattage
Training by wattage means you get to work out at a self-selected power level. The higher the wattage, the more effort you have to put in. The big advantage of this is that the amount of effort your body makes is steady, reducing the risk of injury. The effort you need to make depends on your age, weight and fitness level. The E60-R Recumbent Bike adjusts the resistance level during this workout so that you always keep training at the right power level. Are you pedaling fast? Then the resistance level stays low. If you pedal slowly, the resistance level goes up.
From goals to results
The E60-R Recumbent Bike has 26 training programs. These include 12 pre-programd training profiles, four heart rate-controlled programs, a program by time, one by distance, one by calories and one by wattage. You also have a choice of a program that uses BMI and fat percentage measurement, four personal programs and a manual mode. In addition, the trainer has a recovery program (fitness test) that measures how fast your heart rate drops after a workout. With 48 resistance levels between which you switch quickly and smoothly, you will always work out at the right level.
