HYBRID CARBON – Gabel carbon poles for splitboarding, trekking, trail running, mountaineering and snowshoeing
Hybrid Carbon are foldable carbon poles, ideal for many outdoor activities. From trekking to trail running, from snowshoeing to splitboarding, Hybrid Carbon are especially recommended for mountain guides and experts who undertake multi-day excursions in extreme conditions. They are equipped with the Ergo Fit grip, born from specific biomechanical studies and characterized by a particularly ergonomic shape.
The grip is extended on the first part of the pole thanks to a light layer of Touring foam, an anti-slip foam coating that creates an additional grip point. In addition to allowing a firm and secure grip, the Ergo Fit is equipped with one of Gabel's patented release systems. The TCS (Automatic Top Click System) allows you to adjust and remove the strap without using any tools.
The stick is made up of 5 sections, respectively 18, 16 and 14 mm in diameter. The sections are made of carbon fiber, with a particularly low weight, while the last one is made of aluminum to give greater resistance to impacts. The parts are held together thanks to the steel cable of the Wired Technology, an innovation that also acts as a closing system. This technology, in fact, allows the stick to be folded in just 34 cm thanks to a simple button, becoming easily transportable and not bulky.
The Hybrid Carbon are also equipped with a U-LOCK locking system, a lever system designed for use even at low temperatures and which allows you to adjust the height of the poles. A tungsten carbide tip completes a model perfect for the most difficult and extreme excursions, ensuring excellent grip even on rough or slippery terrain.
